French duo Curse of Silence blur the lines between modern metal and alternative rock, forging a powerful hybrid where emotional rawness collides with sonic weight. Formed from a two-decade friendship between guitarist Jey and vocalist JC, the band thrives on contrast—heavy yet fragile, structured yet unpredictable. Following the release of their new EP Silence Kills in june 2025, Curse of Silence continue to carve out their own path. Jey’s intricate riffing and sharp production meet JC’s visceral vocals and melodic sensibility, creating tracks that oscillate between introspection and explosive catharsis. Influences span from extreme metal to ambient textures, but the result is unmistakably their own.
